Sunrisers Hyderabad manager, Srinath TB, has accused the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) of "intimidation, coercion, and blackmail" over complimentary IPL tickets in an email sent to HCA treasurer CJ Srinivas. The accusation specifically targets HCA president Jagan Mohan Rao Arshinapally.

Srinath also warned that if the issue isn't resolved, the franchise would consider requesting the BCCI to relocate its home venue from Hyderabad. The matter has reportedly been escalated to the BCCI as well.

The email, shared with The Indian Express by an anonymous HCA official, clarifies that for years, HCA has been allocated 50 complimentary tickets in the F12A box, part of the total 3,900 complimentary tickets distributed. This allocation of 50 tickets, according to the manifest, has been standard procedure.

Jagan Mohan Rao, however, has strongly denied the claims, stating that the HCA has not received any official emails from the Sunrisers Hyderabad management.

"There is no truth to the news being circulated on social media and certain websites. If such emails have indeed been received, the question remains: why are these details being leaked from unidentified sources rather than from the official emails of either HCA or SRH? This appears to be a malicious attempt to tarnish the reputations of both HCA and SRH," Rao said in a press release.

He further urged the media to seek clarification directly from SRH, questioning the authenticity of the emails and demanding a clear explanation.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be facing Kokata Knight Riders in their next game scheduled at April 3 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
