In a massive move to rejuvenate his dented national career, KS Bharat is set to join London-based Dulwich Cricket Club for the 2025 Surrey Championship season, as per reports by Wisden.
He is making this major switch to revive his Test career for the national team. Bharat last played against England in 2024, and since then he has been out of the national side.
Bharat has only played Test cricket for Team India. He is yet to make his debut in other formats for the national team. He got his first India call-up in November 2019 but had to wait until February 2023 for his debut.

KS Bharat: Good Domestic Numbers But Not So Good In India Colours
Bharat boasts an impressive first-class record, having scored 5686 runs, including 10 centuries and 32 fifties, across 105 matches. However, despite his good domestic record, he has failed to make his place in the Test side. In seven Test matches for India, he is yet to score a fifty. He has a best score of 44 runs and has not crossed over 500 runs in total.
Previously, several Indian players have played country cricket in order to revive their Test careers. The biggest example is that of Cheteshwar Pujara, who still plays county cricket when he is not a part of the Indian team.
