After the five-match T20I series, New Zealand and Pakistan will now face off in a three-match ODI series between March 29-April 05. All the three matches starts from 3.30 AM IST. The matches will be played across three venues, Napier, Hamilton and Mount Maunganui. The first ODI will be played in Napier on MArch 29, from 3.30 AM IST.
The Kiwis won the T20I series 4-1 despite fielding a second-string playing XI. Majority of the senior players are busy playing in the IPL while Kane Williamson made himself unavailable for selection in the series.
Pakistan won the third T20I by nine wickets. Barring that solitary win, the Men in Green lost all the remaining games playing with a very new-look side. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam were not part of the T20I side that played against the Kiwis.

NZ vs PAK 1st ODI Match Preview
Pakistan will be led by Mohammad Rizwan in the series. He was not selected for the T20I series. Alongside him, Babar Azam makes a comeback as well. The batting side looks far more experienced with Abdullah Shafique, Umam-Ul-Haq returning into the side. T20I skipper Salman Ali Agha is also a part of the ODI side alongside Faheem Ashraf. The bowling looks potent with the addition of Haris Rauf who was not initially picked in the ODI side but was a late addition.
Talking about New Zealand, Tom Latham was ruled out of the series with a fractured hand. Michael Bracewell who led the side in the T20Is will continue to lead them in the ODIs as well. Left-hand batter Henry Nicholls returns into the side as well. Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell will need to play a key role in the middle-order. The bowling attack looks a bit weak without Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi and Matt Henry. Jacob Duffy and William O'Rourke did a good job in the T20I series and will need to continue the good work.
