Pakistan takes on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting with the first T20I on May 28 in Lahore. All three matches will be played in Lahore. Pakistan is resuming playing international cricket just three days after the completion of PSL 2025. Lahore Qalandars won their third PSL title in the last four years.

However, the focus is back to the PAK vs BAN T20I series amid the inflating political tensions between India and Pakistan. That Bangladesh is playing an international series with Pakistan amid an ongoing battle against India is not sitting well with the Indian public. The BCCI is pondering about cancelling their own tour to Bangladesh later this year.

Speaking about the series on hand, Salman Ali Agha is the skipper of the Pakistan T20I side. Litton Das has been named the new T20I skipper of Bangladesh. Both countries have played a lot against each other in recent times and hence are well aware of each others strengths and weaknesses.

PAK vs BAN 1st T20I- Match Previe

After being unsure about allowing their players to travel to Pakistan, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has finally given the green signal to their players to travel to the country for the series. As per reports, the PCB has ensured complete safety and security to their players. The timing of the series is not at all welcoming as the series is being played on the back of a war-like situation between India and Pakistan.

Heading into this series, Bangladesh lost a T20I series against UAE which is a new low for the national cricket team. They also have major injury concerns with Mustafizur Rahman who is unavailable for the series on account of an injury. To make matters worse, DRS is also not available for this series as the technicians have denied travelling to Pakistan on the wake of their political tension with India. PCB is almost on the mat, however, they have still somehow managed to make the series happen. The first T20I will be played on Wednesday and the third and final on Sunday.
