Pakistan women's squad for the Women's World Cup qualifier was announced on Wednesday. Fatima Sana is all set to lead the side while veteran spinner Nida Dar is not a part of the side.
The tournament will be played in Lahore with Sana set to continue her leadership duties. She led the ide in the Women's T20 World Cup last year and has been handed the responsibility now to lead the side in the World Cup qualifiers.
The tournament wil be played from April 9-19. Pakistan will be fighting with five other teams for the two final spots remaining at the 13th edition of the 50-over World Cup later this year in India.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Scotland, Ireland, West Indies - Six Teams To Play In The Qualifiers
Apart from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Scotland, Ireland and West Indies will be participating in the qualifiers for the last two spots. Meanwhile, the Women's World Cup 2025 is all set to be played in India. The BCCI are likely to host the tournament during the September-October window and have already shortlisted five venues.
The tournament will be played in the round-robin format with each team set to play against the other once and the top two teams will eventually qualify for the Women's Cricket World Cup in India. Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA (Lahore City Cricket Association Ground) will host 15 matches of the event.
Pakistan will take on Ireland in the opening match of the tournament on April 9. Rest of the matches for Pakistan are on April 11 (Scotland), April 14 (West Indies), April 17 (Thailand) and April 19 (Bangladesh).
The shortlisted venues for the Women's World Cup 2024 are Visakhapatnam, Mullanpur, Indore, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati. The opening ceremony might be held in Vizag, while the final could be played in Indore or Guwahati.
